A small Austrian silver cased Esther scroll, megillah, Vienna, c.1852, maker's mark STM (incuse), the cylindrical body profusely engraved with flowers to a snake-form scroll guard and floral engraved winder, the flat top with rose decoration and beaded border, the parchment with 21 lines to a column, depth 7cm, case length (inc. winder) 14.3cm.
