Provenance: Sale, Christie's South Kensington, 12 October 2011, lot 52 Condition Report: The canvas does not appear to have been lined. Some light surface dirt and abrasions scattered throughout. There is a small area (approx 2cm) of scuffing and associated scuffing to the upper left quadrant but this is only visible when viewing the work up close. Inspection under UV does reveal some fluorescence in the sky, however this appears to be specific to one particular pigment rather than evidence of any retouching. Condition Report Disclaimer
