A French Napoleon III gilt-metal occasional table, late 19th century and later, the circular serpentine marble top above a heavy base, cast with caryatids and foliate scrolls, raised on three paw supports united by a stretcher, 46cm diameter 57cm high Condition report: Marble top appears to be a 20th century addition - the top screws on to a central fitting. Scratches, small dents, general wear, rubbing and tarnish to base. Some chips to bottom edge of marble. General wear throughout.
