The canvas tension is good, the picture is in plane and the paint layers are stable overall. There are localised patches of overpaint which are reasonably well matched to the original paint layer. The varnish is glossy, even and yellowed. There is matte hazing and scuffs across the surface of the varnish and the painting would benefit from surface cleaning.
