Horace Burdick Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut,1844-1942 Depicts a winding dirt path leading towards a group of trees bathed in early morning sunlight. Burdick studied at the Union Hall School in Providence, The Lowell Institute in Boston, and the Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston where he continued his art career painting landscapes and doing crayon portraits before switching to oil portraits.
