Gaetano Trentanove Italy, United States,1858-1937 Carved marble relief depicting a woman with short hair wearing a frilly lace blouse. Trentanove studied under Giovanni Dupre before subsequently moving to the United States to start his own studio. Trentanove had his work displayed at the 1889 Exposition Universelle, Milwaukee Art Museum, National Statuary Hall, Daniel Webster Memorial, Cleveland Museum of Art, among other museums and public works.
