An English or Scandinavian long disk rapier, mid-17th century Narrow thrusting blade of flattened diamond section and slightly widened, leaf-shaped tip. The flat, delicately openwork bell guard with a turned edge (slightly distorted, torn in one place). A blossom-shaped guard disc on the inside. The straight, spirally fluted quillons with onion-shaped knobs. The original grip spirally fluted, two Turk's heads preserved, the wire winding has been lost. Grooved, onion-shaped pommel. Length 152 cm.Condition: II - III
