此英石竪峰，多面可观，突兀耸立，气势雄浑，上下两端尖峭，中段如斧剁之悬崖，宛转险怪。形态雄拔峭峙，峰稜如削，表面遍布不规则的块状突隆与沟壑，相互勾连贯通，叠压交错，飘然有云姿鹤态。似太白笔下蜀道之险。石色青灰，质地坚密，且体量较大。如此石体量大者则更为难得，有奇崛灵动，苍茫刚劲之感。
