此器仿青铜花觚式，古意深沈。花觚为青白玉，玉质温润细腻。呈长方体，器身分三段，口外撇，厚唇，收颈，敛腹，足外撇。上下两段饰蕉叶纹，中饰西番莲，鼓腹四面饰兽面纹，辅首中雕刻玉环，整体规整，為宮廷風格。觚，是盛行於商周時期的一種飲酒器，玉制仿古花觚多見於乾隆時期，常與香爐等物置於案頭使用，觚內可插如意、小戟等器物，以作博古陳設之用The shape of this piece is copied from the ancient bronze gu vessel to exude an ancient look.
