22 kt Gelbgold. Two-part hollow repoussé earrings decorated with Bacchanalian scenes in fine granulation. The hook fronts with Silenus heads, the navette-shaped pendants with stylised Silenus figures, sun motifs and erotic scenes on the reverse. Minor losses to the granulation. The hooks and mounting rings slightly warped. H 7 cm. Total weight 29.16 g. Presumably ca. 1860/70.
