蛐蛐罐制作有着悠久的历史，至迟在南宋时期即已有之，到了明清极为流行。此对蟋蟀罐器型敦厚，盖部顶端内凹，腹身及盖面皆绘山水、花卉、小桥、木屋，有人物或聚或散，漫步其间，意境幽静，画工流畅。附清中期虎纹水盂一对。
