此件玉印为覆斗形，采用和阗白玉制成，玉质温糯细白，顶部打一对穿孔，印面平整无纹，器表红沁为摹古烤色制成，此种作色方法宋明时期常用之。覆斗印是最早出现的印玺形式之一，战汉玉印中绝大多数是覆斗印，是当时贵族随身携带的信物。此玉印虽光素无纹，但玉质熟润，包浆醇厚，韵味十足。
