此件玉印为和阗白玉质地，洁白润泽。印体呈扁方形，顶部立体圆雕一对小兽作钮。双兽似虎，并排匍匐，昂首翘臀，造型简约，但形态十分生动，有“此时无声胜有声”之意趣。印面以篆书琢刻“平淡天真”四字阳文，布局饱满，颇有古意。实为清代玉制闲章精品。
