An oak centre table, 17th century, Dutch, the thick oval top over a single drawer, on four baluster supports united by a square stretcher, and turned bun feet, 160cm long 102cm deep 74cm high Provenance: Folly Mill, Thaxted, Essex. Condition report: Lots of old scratches and cut marks to the top, patched in places, all polished in. Legs with extensive knocks and dents, mouldings missing, stretcher broken and repairs, feet mismatched at least on a replacement, all wormed and with numerous areas of loss.
