A George III mahogany bureau, flame figured mirrored veneers to the top and fall, within a crossbanded border, the fitted interior with a green baize lining, above four long drawers with brass swan neck handles, on bracket feet, 95cm wide 48cm deep 107cm high Provenance: Folly Mill, Thaxted, Essex. Condition report: Gently faded and with traces of old worm beneath the veneer on the top and some old veneer repairs to the rails between the drawers.
