Cuzco School, 18th century The Madonna and Child, in a painted floral border oil on canvas 82 x 61cm Condition report: Oil on a coarse weave canvas support which has been lined. There is a vertical seam in the original canvas running along the painting to the left of the Madonna. The painting is in plane. The paint layers are stable but have suffered from wear and abrasion in the past. There are areas of overpaint across the surface which are evident on close inspection but acceptable form a normal viewing distance. The varnish is yellowed and matte in appearance.
