A late 18th century Iberian flat cut garnet and freshwater pearl pendant drop, later converted to a brooch, c.1800, a circular cluster top with a replacement simulated pearl surrounded by foil backed flat cut garnets, all rub set to a pierced border. A 'V' shaped articulated pierced pendant below, similarly set with freshwater pearls and flat cut garnets, with three alternating matching pendant drops. A later gilt metal brooch pin. 56 x 34mm Condition report: Scratches and marks consistent with its age. Minor marks to the table or crown facet edges under 10x magnification. Two garnets cracked. Replacement simulated pearl. Soft solder present at the later brooch fitting. Either a pendant drop to a necklace or an earring pendant.
