A gold single stone tourmaline ring, c.1970, with a section of uncut tourmaline crystal, to a pierced plate and with naturalistic textured gold cage, to a two row wire shank. Marked 750, tested as approximately 18ct gold, 17.35g. Finger size K Condition report: Surface marks/scratches to mount. Some nicks to the edge of the tourmaline. An unidentified mark to the pierced plate, possibly a maker's mark. The mark is an 'S' within an off-set square.
