Beautifully painted full length depiction of the Virgin that would have been commissioned by the church as an altar piece and is heavily influenced by Van Eyck's own Ghent Altar piece. The epic scale of the piece and infinite detail in the interiors and figure of the Madonna combine with the gold panelling surrounding her with latin inscriptions with the scrolls.
