Stunning large scale depiction of the angels telling the shepherds about the birth of Jesus in a prelude to the Nativity. Stunning detail and magnificent use of colour accompanied with its baroque influences. The work comes from one of Bloemaert's known compositions but was painted during his period suggesting it was an additional commission probably by his workshop. Excellent condition, Framed.
