鼎是我国古代礼乐制度中最重要的器种，亦是国家政权和个人社会等级的典型代表器物，据《公羊传•桓公二年》记载：“礼祭，天子九鼎、诸侯七鼎、大夫五鼎、元士三也。”规定了不同等级用不同数量的鼎，是为“列鼎制度”。 此鼎形制颇大，气势雄伟，兼具静穆之美，饶有古意，应陈设与大殿庙宇的重要位置。平唇口沿，沿上对铸鋬耳，耳洞作门型，其势外撇，饰以双龙纹。方斗式腹，转折明朗，线条刚劲有力，四出扉棱，每面纹饰均以云雷纹作底，饰夔龙纹及饕餮纹。平底承接四柱足，足上端雕以仿古蝉纹。 整体造型规矩，符合法度，铸造精细，纹饰繁简得当，在继承商周礼器原有形式特点之上，创新出别具本朝特色的艺术纹样，展现出清代盛世仿古鼎彝器物的崭新风貌。 附木质炉盖及炉座
