Gold color bands are applied to the upper and bottom rims. Ruyi collars are worked beneath the upper bands and beneath the lower ones. The cover designs consist of a series of rising bands with a gold band at the rim, ruyi above, then stylized Lingzhi and stem lotus petals continuing to the base of the finial, which is a repousse stylized flower bud topped with a ying/yang symbol.
