A SET OF NEEDLEWORK PANELS 18TH CENTURY The design depicting polychrome flowers against a lattice field the wing elements approximately 84 x 71cm, the back panel approximately 94 x 61cm, the seat panel approximately 58 x 72cm These panels appear certainly to have originally been made for a wing armchair but would be of sufficient quantity to be used for Gainsborough type chairs, chairs seats or stool coverings.
