A GEORGE III MAHOGANY TRIPOD TABLE CIRCA 1780 The dished top with moulded edge 74cm high, 57cm diameter Condition Report: There are marks, scratches, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and use. The top has one long split and other longer splits along the grain of the timber and two other fine visible lines where there are construction joints; blackened ring marks. The underside has a patched repair corresponding to the long split; there are traces of glue to the construction joint; and there are filled holes off-centre. The turned under fixing has a chip.
