A GROUP OF CAST PLASTER RELIEFS CIRCA 1860 Taken from French Roman panels, various old pen, and typed paper labels to reverse the largest 34.5 x 12.5cm overall (4) Provenance: The Simon Neal Collection This group of cast plaster reliefs were likely made by J. O. Westwood who travelled throughout Europe in the late 1850s, making casts of the most important ivories in various collections, to catalogue and give the plasters casts to the V&A. The labels on the reverse describe the location of some of the originals and the subjects depicted.
