此件清掐丝珐琅太平有象，造型端庄典雅，秀美大方。主体为象形，背驮造型别致葫芦宝瓶。大象体态浑圆，神色平和宁静，身配璎珞、绾具，背上搭一锦袱，锦袱、璎珞均以掐丝珐琅装饰，花瓣填珐琅料，色泽鲜嫩欲滴。锦袱上放鞍鞯，宝瓶置于鞍上。该器体形硕大，在做工上融合鎏金掐丝、锤堞为一体，图样繁复而不乱，色彩丰富而不俗，做工细致精巧，气度雍容，实为珐琅宫廷器。大象造型源自佛教题材，普贤菩萨的坐骑即为大象，后成为中国吉祥图案，《汉书·礼乐志》云：“象来致福。”寓意为“太平有象”“喜象升平”，指时事安宁平和，形容河清海晏、民康物阜，至为吉祥。
