释文：次溪兄：日前寄一信，想已收到。顷得高伯两君信，拟蓃求《花随人圣庵摭忆》一部，此书昔曾有之，但现已散失。请于便中为一访之，亦恐不易得耳。盛暑不宜入市，但请于适宜时顺便寻找，俾便答复。此书系瞿兑之经手印行，兑之在沪，恐问他也难得要领。顺请近安。七月廿一日，作人启。
作者简介：周作人（1885-1967），原名周櫆寿，又名周奎绶，后改名周作人，字星杓，又名启明、启孟等，浙江绍兴人。是鲁迅（周树人）之弟，周建人之兄。中国现代著名散文家、文学理论家、评论家、诗人、翻译家、思想家，中国民俗学开拓人，新文化运动的杰出代表。历任国立北京大学教授、“新潮社”主任编辑等。
