释文：次溪弟：手书祗悉，刻下正为弟写修志，诗成即附上耕畴集多本请阅之，能寄王星球一本尤妙，此奇人也。弟宜多读古人之诗，杜李韩苏当有妙语。复问刻佳。兄礼顿首，五月四日。
作者简介：赵元礼（1868-1939），字幼梅，号藏斋，近代诗人、书法家，天津“四大书法家”之一。曾任直隶高等工业学堂监督，1921年与严范孙、金息侯、王守恂等人组织“城南诗社”，以“天津近代诗坛三杰”享誉津门。李叔同曾从其学，著有《藏斋集》《藏斋诗话》等。
