A Fine 19th Century Viennese Enamel & Silver Figural Table Clock. The champlevé enamel dial set in an oval case surmounted by the figure of Pan sat playing his pipes, and intricately painted in rich polychrome enamels with an allegorical panel to the back framed by cobalt blue borders sprigged with gilt flowers and adorned with face mask appliqués either side. The interior of the case beautifully painted with classical figural scene. The clock raised aloft on the head of a turbanned man standing on a stepped pedestal above a domed base. The dome emblazoned with four finely painted roundels depicting figures, on a cobalt blue ground appliquéd with scrolling face masks and terminating on four scroll feet adorned with winged cherub heads. The underside ornamented with a lacy mass of delicate scrolling foliate stems, 8½" (21.5 cm) in height.
