A Large 20th Century Chinese Gourd-shaped Vase. The globular body painted in coloured enamels with birds amongst tree peonies and rock-work to the front and inscribed with black calligraphy alongside red seal marks to the back. The cylindrical neck decorated with flowers and scrollwork on a pink enamelled ground between bands of lappets. The base with a hole to the centre, 17" (43 cm) in height.
