此件罐体态饱满，圆唇，束颈，丰肩鼓腹，腹下渐收。圈足。太白坛因形似李白江边醉卧的酒坛而得名，其注重其线条的优美，绝大部分施以纯色釉。品种所见有窑变、青花、仿汝、冬青、天蓝诸般颜色，借太白坛得以淋漓尽致的发挥，成为空前绝后之名品。本品通体施窑变釉，特殊之处在于，本品窑变色泽诧异，唯口沿至肩部分布一周均匀紫色窑变，红紫交融之色散布，整体观之，釉中诸色浑融交错，迷离迤逦，妙不可言。
