A finely crafted Chinese Longquan lotus bowl, 14th centuryRare, expressive Longquan bowl with beautiful underglaze decoration. The inner walls with four incised lotus flowers. At the bottom one more lotus blossom. Rare decoration! The walls quite thin. With craquelé. Very nice colour and well preserved glaze. Slight adhesion near the bottom on the outside. With old label at the outer side ("... Song era, 14th century, bought Manila 1968"). Intact. Height 8 cm. Diameter 19 cm. Provenance: Private collection Professor R., Munich.
