A marble bust of Queen Alexandra, late 19th century, her hair in a chignon, on a square marble base, the bust 30cm, 40cm overall Provenance: From the Alexandra Hotel, Knightsbridge, destroyed during bombing in 1941.There are losses to her nose and a large chunk is missing to the back of the head. Surface weathering and minor discolouration. Overall, wear and tear consistent with age and outdoor positioning.
