A large Italian reliquary, 18th/19th centuryThe reliquary with eleven glazed compartments containing particles of holy relics, embellished with metal and beading. The partially gilt framework slightly knocked, with ripple moulding and spiral Corinthian columns. The back sealed and taped with fragments of book pages. Knocked in places, showing signs of age and insect damage, partially restored. Dimensions 62 x 89 cm.Condition: II -
