A small Egyptian alabastron, 15th century B.C. Small, massive vessel body in stocky form. With a conical cavity. A removable round plate sits on the opening. A slightly larger flat lid can be placed on top. Rare perfume vessel similar to an aryballos. Height 8 cm. Mentioned with figure in Deutsche Apothekerzeitung 1956 no. 3, p. 18, fig. 2.
