An anthropomorphic standard, Luristan, 8th century B.C.Elongated tubular figure with a janus-headed end. Both arms are brought to the head and form a circle. Instead of hands there are stylised animal heads. The lower part is divided lengthwise in the middle to indicate the legs. Two eyelets above the lower frame. With ornamental decoration. Intact. Length 24 cm. Comes with a 13 cm long stand with a conical base and a button-shaped finish. Provenance: Swiss private collection.Condition: II -
