香巴拉，又译为香格里拉，意为任持乐土，是《时轮经》中所说的小瞻部洲北半六区之一，时轮教法的发源地。其国君从第一代月贤王开始共传了三十四代，称为「香巴拉三十四代具种王」。此尊全跏趺端坐，头裹软巾，身着类似吐蕃赞普的服饰，当胸结说法印，两手捻莲茎于肩头盛放。法王面相俊美，耳饰圆铛，表情内省，唇角含笑，比例适当，金水饱满。台座的莲瓣挺拔修长，显然受到了明代永乐宫廷造像的影响。
