此类青花地黄彩龙纹茶圆为清宫御用传统品类，烧造时需先以青花勾勒纹饰图案并填底色，施透明釉高温烧成，后在其上以黄彩填色，形成青花地黄彩效果，工艺繁复，色泽典雅。
拍品形制端庄，胎体轻薄坚致，釉色丰腴莹润。外壁以青花为地，上以黄彩绘双龙赶珠纹，五爪锋利，身形矫健，祥云环绕，云边燃起山形火焰，象征皇权一统天下，庄重威严，近足处绘一周黄彩莲瓣纹，寓意吉祥。碗内壁留白，碗心绘以青花地黄团龙，龙体弯曲，腾跃欲出，亦显气势磅礴。
