拍品应为文房水盂之用，罐、盖成套，较为难得。器型小巧秀美，饱满圆润，外壁通以青花为饰，盖面与罐壁满绘缠枝莲纹，莲花开敷，枝叶舒卷。青花发色翠丽，纹饰描绘生动。
附旧配日本桐木盒，上以墨书题签“贻厥”二字，语出《尚书·五子之歌》中“明明我祖，万邦之君，有典有则，贻厥子孙”之句，多寓意给子孙留下有益事物。
