此类五彩龙凤纹碗或始烧于清康熙时期，历代皆有烧造，为清宫御用膳碗之典型器。
整器均以青花五彩为饰，外口沿绘如意八吉祥纹饰，外壁绘两组龙凤穿花纹，龙凤以红、绿二彩为主，取意“龙凤呈祥”。碗心单绘一条立龙，龙形矫健。
