A triptych icon comprising rectangular wooden boards with icons painted in tempera on gesso; central panel with the Virgin and Child and inscription 'Picture of Our Lady Mary with her beloved Son'; upper two registers of the left and right panels with the archangels Gabriel and Michael holding shields and swords, flanking the Virgin and Child with inscriptions 'Gabriel' and 'Michael'; equestrian saints in the lower parts of the side panels, with identifying inscriptions 'Claudius' and 'Picture of St. George'; painted frames forming the background behind the figures.
