A Chinese Famille Rose Plate Of circular form, decorated in famille rose enamels, the centre painted with an outdoor scene of three ladies at leisure in a terraced garden, flanked by two kneeling men bearing gifts, a bird on a gilded perch overhead above a lotus pond with ducks, encircled by a honeycomb and a diaper pattern border, the rim with four gilt quatrefoil cartouches containing pomegranate and other fruits, all reserved against a dense ground of floral scrolls, a further diaper pattern border to the rim, the base glazed.
