此件器物为一绿色烧蓝工艺银质盖盒，器呈椭圆形，盖体镶嵌一块硕大厚实的白玉嵌饰。和阗白玉质地，细腻润泽。表面微鼓，以高浮雕手法琢刻一枝苍劲遒曲的老梅，枝干粗壮挺拔，蜿蜒盘曲，树瘤丰富，梅花及小枝错综交杂，十分繁茂。旁有湖石及菊花相伴，营造出一幅美妙动人之景。雕琢细致生动，具有清代早期玉雕特征。因盖盒年代晚于玉饰，所以盒体是为此块玉饰专门定制而成。
