此件玉鱼摆件以大块和阗白玉立体圆雕而成，玉质细腻润泽，局部微带糖色，通体包浆厚重，呈现玻璃光泽。鱼头微翘，圆眼分三层琢刻，灵动有神。身体饱满丰腴，侧鳍振拍，背上脊鳍高立。鱼尾较长，形似蒲扇，略向两侧分叉。玉鱼口衔莲梗，有水草自头部漂过。莲梗细长，线条柔美，一枝长有硕大的荷叶，一枝生出一朵饱满的莲花。另一侧雕饰一组浮萍。身下承有红木精雕器作，波涛汹涌，水漩浪起，显得十分高贵典雅。整器选料奢侈，玉质温润含光，雕工精湛，抛光细腻，是一件集料、形、工于一体的文房清赏佳物，实在难得。 参考：台北故宫博物院藏，清 白玉双鱼，与此件极为相似。
