A good Japanese bronze elephant and tiger group, Meiji period signed Seiya saku, modelled as two tigers attacking a trumpeting elephant, with ivory inset tasks, the tigers with inset glass eyes, the group with three colour patina, engraved three character signature to underside, on its original root wood stand, Dimensions Total height 55cm and length 55cm including stand Condition Report The bronze appears to be in good condition with the original pattern nation. The insert insert toss are made of Ivory but are slightly wobbly so they could be removed and replaced if you wish to have exported outside of the UK. The roof would stand has age cracks to it and one section upon which the elephant is resting it's right front and rear legs is slightly wobbly, the stand would benefit from a dust and clean otherwise in good condition.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
