Two similar Japanese champlevé enamel and bronze ‘pheasant' censers and covers, Meiji period, in Chinese archaic style, Dimensions 39 cm long Condition Report The tails were once soldered in position but are now but loose. There is pitting to the enamels, both of the tails are slightly bent out of position and there is an old solder repair to the left join of the left foot and leg of one of the birds, otherwise in reasonable conditionPLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
