A Chinese famille rose porcelain plaque, by Zhang Zhitang (1893-1971) painted with a kingfisher perched by a rocky outcrop looking at fish in the water below, inscribed upper right with red seal mark, Provenance - Mr W G Pullen, Dimensions 25cm x 38cm, later mounted and framed Condition Report Provenance - Mr W G Pullen (d.1994), former Deputy Chairman of Standard and Chartered Banking Group Ltd. and of the Asian section of the British National Export Council. His banking career spanned 1925 to 1974 in which he spent much time in Hong Kong and Malaysia.Plaque not removed from frame but appears without damage.
