°A folio sized album of 64 Chinese Canton school full page gouache paintings on rice paper, mid 19th century, depicting flowers, birds, artisans and itinerants (creasing to some plates), in a fine gilt green morocco binding. Dimensions Album 55 cm x 38.5 cm Condition Report All of the rice paper paintings are stock down on the edge into the album, the majority with creasing to the paper and some minor staining or discolouration. The tissue guards for the internal pages have foxing and spotting to them but this has largely unaffected the paintings. There is a binders label for George Mullen, Dublin. The green Morocco leather binding has scuffing and wear to the spine and the ends of the spine, to the edges and has dog-eared corners.
