A George III japanned dropdial wall clock, the 14 inch brass dial with central scrolls and Roman numerals, case decorated with flowers and figures in a chinoiserie landscape, unsigned anchor escapement movement with pendulum and lead weight, Dimensions diameter 46cm height 136cm Condition Report Case still retains most of its decoration but this is now a little faded and scuffed with numerous tiny losses and a craquelure effect throughout, glazing to the door is cracked, looks to have the original lock but key not working, hands scuffed, dial oxidised, movement looks complete but not tested.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
