A George II walnut chest on stand with moulded cornice, two short and three graduated long drawers over three further short drawers, now on bun feet, Dimensions W.102cm D.51cm H.132cm Condition Report This chest once has a stand which has now been lost, the top is unfinished plain pine and has some losses to the back right corner moulding, escutcheons are later replacements as are the handles, locks look original but no key present, except for the top left drawer which has a working key, overall of an even faded mid to light walnut tone, a single strip of moulding has been added to each side half way down the upper section, some small losses of veneer around the apron.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
